“What do TheCrystalApes do and who are they?”
The CrystalApes were formed by Imoe in Hamburg, Germany in summer 2006.
Our music unites several styles from electronic to rock and pop.
Our lyrics often have a tendency towards melancholy, they are biased by darkness and draw images and pictures.
They focus on the struggle of one's self
with its fate and with the paths of liberation.

we are simplistic although complex,

Unsere Texte haben meist einen Hang zu Düsternis und Melancholie und zeichnen
sprachlich Bilder und Motive. Im Schwerpunkt spiegeln sie den Kampf
des Selbst mit seinem Schicksal wider und beschreiben seine Befreiung daraus.
